What we do and why ?

In May 2015 we founded a Facebook page to help Roxana Parvulet fight cancer.

Unfortunately, on 18 February 2016 dear Roxana lost the fight with cancer….

In her name we want to continue helping, and because Roxana loved children, we want to help children in need, abandoned children and the poor children affected by cancer.

We will be helping the following children :

Oncology Institute Fundeni 

About 30 children between 0-16, with very poor families from all around Romania; 

  • These children come from around Romania to be treated for cancer; Unfortunately not all medical needs are paid by the government;

Center for children “ARTF Sf Nicolai” 

About 22 children between 12-18 that were abandoned by their parents and are distributed in 3 apartments in sector 5 Bucharest.

  • Initially there was a center that hosted all children, but it was closed due to risk of collapse so the children were moved in 3 apartments — Baltagului, Doina and Motoc — all apartments have 3 rooms and host 7-8 children in 2 rooms;
  • Their parents signed them off in the care of the government;

Day and night care for street children “Prelungirea Ferentari – 72-74” 

About 23 children between 2-18 that are left there by their parents for an unknown period – usually they are never taken back and after 2-3 years are transferred to “ARTF Sf Nicolai” center;

  • These children are abandoned by their parents for not being able to take care of them ( lack of money ) for a couple of months ( 6 months ) but very rarely does any parent come to take the children back; After 2-3 years they are considered to be totally abandoned and the parents rights are taken and they are transferred to the other center ARTF Sf Nicolai;
